Our firm
Stacks/The Law Firm Ballina continues the strong legal practice originally established by Peter Carmont, NorthLaw and Jo Carusi & Associates. The new young and dynamic operators and owners, Nathan and Kym Luke, returned to the North Coast after gaining broad experience in some of Sydney’s leading law firms.
Stacks/The Law Firm Ballina is an independent, autonomous legal practice. The firm is unique in the Ballina, Byron and Lismore Shires in that it is a member of the Stacks/the Law Firm alliance, the largest regional-based network of law practices in Australia. This means that the office has access to the combined knowledge and experience of 76 professional staff in 20 offices across NSW and QLD. As a result, Stacks/the Law Firm Ballina is able to provide the personal touches of a small, family firm, while drawing on the wider resources of the Stacks group. The end result is a high quality expert legal service in all areas of the law.
The office also services the area outside of its immediate Ballina location, making use of up-to-the-minute communications technology.
Stacks/The Law Firm Ballina continues the tradition of the practice by providing the local community with friendly and cost effective services in the areas of:
- Compensation
- Conveyancing and Real Estate
- Employee Advice & Workplace Disputes
- Wills, Estates & Wealth Protection
- Corporate & Commercial
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Workplace Relations, Employment and Safety
We understand how important it is to regularly review the quality of our legal services. Our firm continues to meet the rigorous requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard. Having been certified since 2003, we are proud to have obtained re-certification to the ISO9001:2008 standard for a further three years, following a recent re-certification audit by SAI Global.
