Jason specialises in Compensation law, particularly Workers Compensation. He also conducts some Family Law matters. Prior to joining the team at Stacks, Jason worked as a clerk for a barrister’s chambers. He was admitted as a solicitor in both the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia. A Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury, Jason is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance, the Law Society of NSW, and the American Association for Justice. He is a respected member of the team with 15years experience in legal practice.
Jason has conducted numerous work accident matters, and has an excellent knowledge of practice and procedure running cases through the Workers Compensation Commission. He has a strong interest in dispute resolution, which assists his compensation work. Injured clients appreciate Jason’s understanding and empathetic approach, and his efforts to make sure that they understand each step in the legal process. Jason worked on reported workers compensation matter, Merver v ANZ Bank. He has some experience with international law, successfully settling a work accident matter for a resident of Florida who was injured while working in Australia.
The father of 3, Jason spends much of his leisure time chauffeuring his children to weekend sport. He is involved in the community through coaching junior cricket and basketball and his family’s sponsorship commitments to children in Africa.
He is President of the Port Macquarie Junior Cricket Club and Secretary of the Hastings Junior Cricket association.
