Marta is an experienced member of the Stacks/Northern Rivers office with an excellent (some might say wicked!) sense of humour. Describing her work as a “bit of everything”, she completes a great deal of the crucial background work for the office’s Commercial and Property / Conveyancing matters. Prior to joining Stacks, Marta worked as a Paralegal in Sydney for Lorton Duke and Co Solicitors, followed by Rishworth Dodd and Menczel Solicitors . With 33 years experience as a Paralegal, and currently the Office Manager at Stacks/Northern Rivers, she is a valued member of the team with an excellent knowledge of the local property market.

Marta’s work includes handling leasing and estate matters, drawing up conveyancing deeds, completing settlements, organising registration and maintaining file administration. Her friendly disposition allows her to develop a strong rapport with clients and businesses alike. Marta has been involved in the developments of Twin Towers in Tweed Heads, and the Zinkohl Tweed Ultima Development, as well as handling the conveyancing for a number of subdivisions in the local area. Born in Hungary, she speaks Hungarian and some German, and has occasionally conducted matters for non-English speaking clients.

The mother of an adult son, Marta and her husband moved from Sydney to Robina in Queensland in 1990. Involved in the local community through her membership to the Chamber of Commerce, she loves reading murder mystery novels in her spare time and describes herself as a “mad puzzle fanatic”. When she gets the chance, she enjoys travelling to visit her family in Hungary.

Marta has many repeat clients who enjoy her pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to getting the job done.
