Richard specialises in Compensation law for individuals, in particular, conducting Motor Vehicle Accident and Public Liability matters. He is a NSW Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury and a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance. With 35 years in practice, Richard is an experienced and knowledgable member of the Stacks team.

Richard’s skills lie in his honest communication with clients and his empathetic understanding of the impact of injury on lifestyle. He has acted for members of non-English speaking background through the use of an interpreter, and conducted compensation matters for international clients in Canada and New Zealand. A master coordinator, Richard recently conducted a motor vehicle accident matter from NSW against the Transport Accident Commission in Victoria (TAC) for a Canadian resident holidaying in Queensland.

Having spent his life in Taree, Richard is actively involved in the community. The Community Services Officer of Taree’s Rotary Club, he regularly arranges community fundraising activities and hosts international students in his home, most recently from Belgium and Brazil.

The father of three and recently a first-time Grandfather, Richard values family time. A recreational boater, he has spent his life in Taree and knows the ins and outs of the Manning River.
