Rita's expertise extends across a broad range of legal areas, including commercial law,  property and conveyancing, Wills and Probate and Family Law. Her wide-ranging commercial experience means that the knowledge and advice she provides goes way beyond the legal viewpoint.

After many years as a teacher and business owner, Rita qualified as a solicitor in 2005, fulfilling her childhood goal of becoming a lawyer. She leads our Blue Mountains practice, with offices in Leura and Springwood.

Rita has lived in the Blue Mountains since 1976 and is a highly respected and extremely active member of the local business community. She is a member of Blue Mountains Law Society, Leura Village Association, BIZNET, Upper Blue Mountains Sunrise Rotary, Blue Mountains Lithgow and Oberon Tourism Ltd, and Blue Mountains Accommodation Association. She is a partner and director of a number of local businesses.  Consequently, she has extensive local community and business knowledge to share with clients.

In addition, when Rita was President of Blue Mountains Tourism she regularly met with staff from the Council's tourism body so she has a good understanding of the local Council's structure and operation.

Rita regularly provides legal advice to local Community organisations on a pro bono basis and regularly supports local schools and charities.
