Nathan Luke
Nathan Luke is a lawyer and director of Stacks Law Firm in Ballina/Byron Bay.
Nathan has been employed in the legal industry for over 20 years. He has very broad experience, having worked for the courts, large city firms and, for the last ten years, at the helm of Stacks Law Firm in Ballina/Byron Bay.
Nathan leads the firm in its focus areas, including property and conveyancing, wills and estates and general commercial services.
Nathan is the expert in the Ballina/Byron Bay region for employment, industrial and workplace law. He has wide ranging experience in this field, including in injury compensation and work health and safety (WHS) law.
Nathan provides expert services to his corporate and employer clients. These include employment contracts, policies, alternative dispute resolution, due diligence on business purchases and employee management. These clients know that they can easily access Nathan for urgent advice and he prides himself on being considered part of their strategic management team.
His clients include highly successful, national award winners located in the Northern Rivers region, across a range of industries including rock music, aviation, fashion, craft beer, e-marketing, ethical food and farming. He acts for numerous other companies across a range of industries in NSW, Queensland and across Australia.
Nathan is just as passionate about helping his employee clients to navigate the complex industrial and workplace laws, assisting them in their careers with contracts and advice. Where necessary, he fights hard to protect their rights in unfair termination, discrimination, bullying and adverse action claims.
Nathan provides boutique personal services to his clients in the areas of wills, wealth protection and estates, contracts and loans. He is also well known in the local property and real estate industry for his highly skilled legal services and deal making abilities.
Nathan is a long-time member of the Law Society of NSW and the Northern Rivers Law Society. He is the president of dynamic local think tank and networking group, “The Ballina Business Alliance”, and has previously been a board member of the Ballina Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of Northern Rivers Food. He sees the Northern Rivers area of NSW as unique in the world and is excited about the future of the region.
Nathan is married to the co-owner of the firm, solicitor Kym Luke. Together they have three teenage children. Outside of work Nathan is a keen rock music fan and loves the local food scene.
