He is currently conducting a matter involving a client whose arm was crushed in an accident at work when a car fell off a tow truck; the case being particularly challenging due to a debate arising about whether it was a work or a motor vehicle accident, which could affect the clients financial entitlement significantly. Grant achieved a successful outcome for his client in reported case Thackam v Kempsey District Hospital, a Workers Compensation matter that went to the Court of Appeal.
The father of 3, outside of the office Grant is kept busy ferrying his school-aged children to various soccer, rugby league and swimming competitions throughout northern NSW, and is often involved in fundraising activities for the local primary school.
