Joanna diverted via the world of publishing before becoming a solicitor. After graduating from The University of Sydney she worked as an Editor, Commissioning Editor and Senior Editor for the Property and Local Government at Thomson Reuters.
A move back to the country coincided with her arrival at Stacks where she specialises in the purchase and sale of businesses and property that extends to expertise in leasing and succession planning.
A member of the Law Society of NSW, Joannas has an empathetic and friendly nature that allows clients to feel comfortable and confident. She takes great satisfaction working through tricky situations and finding a conclusion all the while developing good relationships with her clients.
While Law runs in her family her grandfather was in the same profession Joannas husband is a farmer and so she spends much of her spare time on the farm, although she admits to being more of a hindrance than a help when it comes to the practical side of her husbands vocation.
Away from work she is a voracious reader of anything she can get her hands on, from newspapers to novels (and the odd trashy book). Her other passion is rugby, another family trait as her father was a rugby coach. Although she doesnt get to see them as much as she would like, she supports her local teams, the Brumbies and the Wallabies.
