Julian is a lawyer in the Hornsby office. He was admitted as a solicitor in May 2021 and joined the firm shortly after. He is a member of the Law Society of NSW.
Julian has an interest in criminal and family law. Before joining Stacks, he worked directly under a principal lawyer in a boutique law firm specialising in these areas of law. In this role, he has appeared at the Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court for mentions, sentences, trials, bail applications and hearings.
In preparing cases for trial, he has briefed barristers, done legal research, analysed briefs and drafted applications and other letters for the court.
Julian’s legal skills and strengths include his strong advocacy skills in court, statutory interpretations and legal writing. He is very persistent, which allows him to find solutions to legal problems.
Julian enjoys helping individuals who are going through difficult times in their lives and in particular, considers working in family law to be emotionally rewarding work. He was drawn to a career in law, as he has always been passionate about justice and equality. The legal field provides Julian with the opportunity to bring justice to the lives of everyday people.
A significant matter Julian recently worked on involved a District Court trial where a verdict of “not guilty” was handed down for charges involving supply of prohibited drugs in commercial quantity. Another notable case resulted in dismissal of all charges of multiple assault and domestic violence at hearing.
Outside of work, Julian enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He relishes outdoor activities, including running, hiking and cycling. He is a life member blood donor with the Red Cross and is regularly involved in community cultural activities. Julian speaks Farsi.
