Kate Byrne is a property lawyer who also works on wills and estates and insolvency, as well as being involved in some litigation work. She previously gained experience and knowledge in contract law, with a particular focus on the retirement and aged care industry. In this role, she worked in a team developing the legal infrastructure for new developments. She also gained extensive experience in relation to reviewing contracts for retirement village operators and financial institutions.
Kate has a good knowledge of the law and a specific understanding of regional law in practice. She is empathetic and connects with her clients to ensure she can provide them with sound legal advice on a range of issues. Kate was admitted as a solicitor in February 2015 and is a member of the Law Society of NSW.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys country life, spending time with her family on the farm, riding horses and enjoying the great outdoors. She supports the Tamworth office’s pro bono work for the Cancer Council and is involved in the Young Lawyers Group in Tamworth.
