Mark is a compensation specialist who has been handling personal injury claims since 1994. Before that he had extensive experience in the court system working for the Attorney-General’s Department of NSW.
Mark has experience in all aspects of compensation law. His particular style of educating, rather than dictating to his clients, ensures that they become informed and active participants during their legal proceedings.
Mark is able to wade through complex litigation to find and address the crucial elements. He successfully represented six clients who were catastrophically injured during the Wingello bushfire disaster of 1998, which received heavy media attention.
This case led to an important piece of litigation regarding ACT/NSW bushfires and Mark acted for over 100 people who were affected by the Canberra bushfires of 2003, a complex case involving approximately 4,500 plaintiffs and five insurance companies.
Originally from Sydney’s northern beaches, Mark moved to the Southern Highlands twenty years ago. Outside the office he is kept fairly busy with his four children.
Mark is heavily into cycling and in the past achieved a green belt in karate. He assists his local community by providing pro bono legal work and by supporting and sponsoring local sport, from an elite level through to junior sport. He also offers local students a comprehensive work experience program giving a full understanding of the operations of a legal practice.
