Michael Greene is a workers compensation lawyer. He began working at Stacks Goudkamp as a filing clerk, later working as a paralegal, while studying law at the University of Wollongong.
He works principally in workers compensation and common law damages claims, but also has an interest in employment law and international law. He became interested in these areas of law while studying at university.
Working as a paralegal taught Michael valuable communication, drafting and advocacy skills. He has strong problem solving skills and enjoys research.
Michael enjoys working in workers compensation law, as he likes being able to help injured workers and their families during tough times in their lives. He likes facing new scenarios and following the best course of action for his client.
Outside of work, Michael likes spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys playing sport, including soccer, cricket and basketball. He also spends a lot of time at the beach during summer.
Michael likes being involved in the local community and volunteers for the Red Shield Appeal for the Salvation Army, as well as handing out legacy badges each year.
