Natalie was admitted as a solicitor in 2010 and is a member of the Law Society of NSW. She works at the Higgins & Dix office in Laurieton, NSW.
Natalie started out her legal career as a law clerk for a firm in Moree in 2008, while she was studying for her law degree at Southern Cross University. She moved to Essential Energy in Port Macquarie in 2011, where she worked in the transmission line route group, preparing documents for the acquisition of easements for high voltage powerlines on private landowners’ properties and preparing documentation for the compulsory acquisition of easements and land. Natalie joined Higgins & Dix in Laurieton in September 2013.
Natalie works across a number of areas of law, but has a principal focus on property law, conveyancing, wills and estates.
Her expertise in property law includes the purchase and sale of residential, rural and commercial properties, compulsory acquisition process (easements and land), creation and registration of easements and preparation of commercial leases. She also has experience in the sale and purchase of water licences. She enjoys working in property law and assisting clients with difficult property transactions.
In wills and estates, Natalie has expertise in estate administration and in the preparation of wills, powers of attorney and appointment of enduring guardians. Natalie enjoys this area of law as she derives satisfaction from helping her clients manage their financial and personal affairs and being of assistance to them in difficult times.
As a solicitor, Natalie is a good listener, patient, empathetic and compassionate.
When not at work, Natalie likes to spend time with her family, especially her toddler. She also enjoys physical fitness, running, cycling and swimming, in particular.Natalie also enjoys being involved in her community and was previously a Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce executive committee member.
