Nirmala is a solicitor in the Stacks Collins Thompson office in Hornsby. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in the UK, and her law qualifications in Sydney.
Nirmala works across many areas of law, including family law, criminal law, conveyancing, civil and commercial law, litigation, wills and probate. She has a keen interest in employment law and hopes to gain more experience in this area.
While in the UK, Nirmala undertook Hague Convention legal work, successfully returning children to their families from Australia, the Middle East and Europe.
Nirmala thoroughly enjoys making agreements and arrangements for her clients. Being highly organised and a careful listener, she likes problem solving and is a tough, but fair negotiator.
Nirmala is very persistent and committed, as evidenced by the fact that she obtained her legal qualifications while working full-time and also caring for her mother, who was very unwell.
Nirmala likes to give back to the community and is involved with her son’s school through P&C events. She enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places together.
