Rita is a personal injury lawyer at Stacks Goudkamp. She was admitted as a solicitor in July 2009 and became an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law by the Law Society of NSW in November 2020. Rita speaks conversational Egyptian Arabic.
Rita previously worked at Stacks as a paralegal and solicitor, before moving to LexisNexis to perform roles including legal editor, practice area manager, commercial content strategist and content strategy manager. She rejoined Stacks Goudkamp in October 2017, bringing with her valuable commercial and management skills.
Rita’s main focus is on motor vehicle accident claims, but she also has experience in public liability and medical negligence. In addition, she has some experience in sexual abuse cases, product liability claims and workers compensation.
Rita has excellent legal writing skills and attention to detail. She is compassionate and determined. Outside of work, Rita loves keeping fit by regularly going to the gym, running and hiking. She has completed half marathons as well as the Oxfam Trailwalker – a 100km hike for charity. She enjoys travelling and has visited many countries, with plans to visit many more.
An active participant in the community, Rita volunteers for Guide Dogs NSW/ACT by providing support at events and selling merchandise. When not participating herself in the Oxfam Trailwalker event, she volunteers to support others who are. She has also worked as a volunteer for the Australian Human Rights Commission, doing research and content development work.
