Tom is a paralegal in the Stacks Champion office in Parramatta. He has a Diploma in Business and is currently undertaking studies in law and business through Western Sydney University. Prior to joining Stacks, Tom worked as a paralegal at another law firm for just over two years.
The aspects of law that most interest Tom are commercial litigation and debt recovery, as he finds these areas to be fast-paced and he enjoys the sense of achievement he gains when completing such matters. He also has an interest in public law and legal theory.
Tom has experience appearing in the Local Court of NSW, as well as liaising with clients and counsel, conducting settlements, drafting court documents and gathering evidence.
He has appeared in the Local Court of NSW for debt recovery matters, where he has conveyed the matters in dispute to the court and sought expert directions. Tom has enjoyed learning from skilled advocates during his time in court.
Tom has strong problem solving and communication skills, and is always punctual. He is enjoying working with the experienced and passionate team at Stacks, as it is building on his existing skills.
Tom has wanted to be a lawyer since high school, after undertaking legal studies. When he is not working or studying, he enjoys watching rugby. He also likes reading and spending time with his family and friends in Taree.
